Eric, founder of Eric Grows Companies, has appeared on four podcasts and in three written features about building and running companies with AI and no code. The podcast conversations are Rising Tide Startups, Wantrepreneur to Entrepreneur, The Flipped Story, and Highs of Innovation. The written features ran in USA Today, the International Business Times, and The Legendary Edition. Every appearance covers some part of the same story: leaving a strategy role at Meta, and building software as a non-technical founder.

Which podcasts has Eric appeared on?

Eric has appeared on four podcasts. On Rising Tide Startups (Episode 10.12, 34 minutes) with host Kevin Prewett, Eric covered why owning your own website decides whether AI search can find and cite your business. On Wantrepreneur to Entrepreneur (Episode 1296, 31 minutes) with host Brian Lofrumento, Eric covered why most businesses use AI in its shallowest form and how a strategy product got built and shipped without writing code. On The Flipped Story (51 minutes), Eric told the long version: philosophy at Michigan, the years at Meta, quitting with nothing lined up, and the scuba app that followed. On Highs of Innovation (Episode 14, 15 minutes) with host Jasmine Martirossian, Eric covered how philosophical training turns into structured strategic reasoning.

Where has Eric been written about?

Eric and StratEngine AI have been written about in three publications. USA Today published a feature on December 8, 2025 covering the career route from philosophy major to CPA to strategy at Meta to AI founder, and how the product got built without an engineering background. The International Business Times published a piece on November 26, 2025 examining StratEngine AI itself: who it is built for, where business consultants lose time in the analysis layer, and how a solo-run product handles confidential business information. The Legendary Edition published a profile on September 2, 2026 covering the 2024 exit from Meta with nothing lined up, all three companies, and the free course.

What does Eric talk about in these appearances?

Across these seven appearances Eric covers one consistent subject: how a non-technical business owner builds and runs real software with AI. The recurring themes are why generic AI chat tools produce shallow results for hard business work, how a career in strategy and operations translates into directing AI precisely, why owning your web infrastructure decides whether AI search can cite you, what it costs to run a software company as one person, and why reinvention is a learnable skill rather than a personality trait. Eric has reinvented his career four times: philosophy major, CPA, strategist at Meta, then founder.

Who is Eric?

Eric is the founder of Eric Grows Companies. Eric was a Senior Manager of Strategy and Operations at Meta, holds an MBA and a CPA, studied philosophy at the University of Michigan, and has never written a line of code. Eric now runs three live companies himself with AI: StratEngine AI, a strategy research product; SCUBAzen, a mobile app for divers; and Venice Threads Co., an apparel brand in Venice, California. Eric teaches non-technical business owners the same skill through a free course on YouTube.
